"I wouldn't recommend adventuring to someone who gets lost in their own museum."
There's a lot to be said about adventuring and adventurers. Adventuring can be fun and exciting or it can be just plain boring. It all depends on where you go, what you do and your own personal sense of adventure. You can find adventure in your own backyard--especially if you haven't mowed said yard in a few months. Many find adventures in books and movies, which is a great place to find them especially if you're low on money. But there are two basics to every adventure that can make or break it; food and entertainment.
There's no point in going to Hawaii if the only thing you remember is that horrible restaurant or not knowing where to go for a authentic luau. That's what I'm here for--actually, that's what this site is here for, what I'm here for is still debatable and many have their own opinions on that subject, which we won't get into.
I do a bit of traveling now and again, granted I don't have the money at my fingertips to go anywhere too exotic, but once in awhile I do manage to get out of the country, said country being the United States.
I'm not a professional critic, I don't get paid to review places or things and this is the only place you will find my reviews. I have my own tastes and opinions on everything so what I think is great you might think is rubbish. This should be looked at more as a guide type of thing; suggestions from people who have literally been there, done that and quite possibly bought the t-shirt (or some other overly expensive object). Just like reviews from every other critic on the planet.
Photography just happens to be a hobby of mine and as you can see in the links I've created a photo album (and a blog) to go with this site. Feel more than free to take a look through both links, some of the pictures are taken by one of my adventuring partners, some are taken by me. You might even find some at home pictures. Check the blog for planned vacations/trips and instant thoughts of what's going on.
I've decided to include my partners in crime (the two blokes who go with me on every adventure since the beginning of 2007) on this one, so hopefully if they agree to such (I have yet to tell them they are suddenly becoming critics) you'll have their reviews/opinions on things as well.
Hopefully you'll find this site helpful or at the least a bit entertaining. If nothing else I hope it inspires you to get out and adventure somewhere as soon as possible!

If you have any questions or any good tips on places to go, things to do, feel free to send us an e-mail!

Not all e-mails will be replied to. I will not put reviews on places I have not been on this site or reviews from other people I do not know so please don't send us your reviews.
